Top 3 Frequently Asked Questions…

1. What is “Member’s Price?”
The “Member’s Price” is the discounted cost for purchasing tickets to the Film Festival events for all Museum of Western Film History members. Your membership contributes to the on-going operations and fulfillment of the Museum’s mission. Click HERE to join, or join when you purchase your Film Festival tickets. Note: Membership also saves you $10.00 for the Thursday night BBQ. – Non Member – $25.00/ Member – $15.00. LIFETIME members are entitled to a FREE  BBQ dinner.  If one has an “Individual” membership, they would be entitled to ONE dinner ticket at the reduced price; respectfully, a “Couple” can get TWO; and a “Family” up to four discounted dinners.
2. What access do I get to events with a Film Festival Button?”
Purchasing a Film Festival Button gives the purchaser access from Thursday through Monday to all the Film Festival screenings at the High School Auditorium, presentations at the Museum Theatre, and access to the Museum (Thursday – Monday). Note: Tours are NOT INCLUDED with the event access button.
3. What is a “Car Caravan.” How many people can be in a car? Per Car or Per Person?
We utilize “Car Caravans” to the Alabama Movie Location tours to reduce the wear and tear on the access roads as requested by the  BLM. We used to use buses, but navigation on the back roads can be difficult.  The tours are limited, by the BLM,  to 10 cars with a total  maximum of 20 participants. A “TOUR TICKET” is for ONE person not ONE car. All individuals in a car must have an individual tour ticket. Note: The tour guides suggest comfortable and solid shoes for navigating the sandy terrain during the walking part of the tours. It is also suggested you bring sunglasses, hat and water.
