My name is Gabe Piper. I’ve been interested in Lone Pine since I first climbed Mt. Whitney about five years ago. Since then I’ve completed an undergraduate degree in Media Arts from Brigham Young University, and have been researching Inyo County’s over 100 year film history. At the moment I am pursuing a masters degree in Hispanic Literatures to go along with my film studies with the hopes of teaching film at the college level someday soon.
