Plot: A young man and his sheepdog, Treve, are given a job on a sheep-ranch by the niece of the owner. The uncle is an eccentric with a cowering fear of dogs even though dogs are required as herders on sheep ranches. The dig saves the rancher’s life and then wins a number of prizes at a dog show. Later the owners of the surrounding ranches accuse Treve of being a sheep killer though the killer is a three-legged wolf. The ranchers are preparing to execute Treve.
