McGee Creek Pack Station presents a trail ride through the Alabama Hills with Western Film Historian, Douglas Grieve, showing many filming locations along the way. Some of the movie locations along the trail will be RAWHIDE, THE TALL T, RIDE LONESOME, HELL BENT FOR LEATHER, THE GREAT RACE, and BAD DAY BLACK ROCK, among others. The riders will meet and depart from the parking area of Mobius Arch Trailhead. At the end of the ride, we will return to the trailhead where your car is parked.

Rides are 2 1/2 hours long
Minimum age 8 years old
Maximum weight for rider is 225 lbs
All Rides will meet and depart from parking area of Mobius Arch Trailhead. At the end of the ride we will return to the trailhead where your car is parked.
PLEASE ARRIVE 30 MINUTES BEFORE THE RIDE STARTS, TO COMPLETE YOUR CHECK-IN PROCESS.
- Make sure to bring a water bottle and any snacks you might want along the way, we will provide a small saddle bag for your use.
- Plan on everyone wearing long pants, closed toed shoes, and a hat that won’t blow off.
- We suggest sunscreen and a hat. We will also have helmets available.
- We ask that you travel light – no day packs, fanny packs, camel baks, etc.
- Plan on wearing layers – we can always tie extra jackets on the saddle.
- Once you’re all signed in, we’ll have a brief instruction and safety talk which will take a few minutes as well, then we’ll get mounted up.
