In the first episode of the final season of the Lone Ranger’s 5-year run on television, Clayton Moore and Jay Silverheels find themselves in color and in the Alabama Hills. “The Wooden Rifle” has the Lone Ranger and Tonto desperately trying to convince a boy and his family to testify against a tyrant who has been oppressing them after the boy witnesses a killing. On this tour we’ll walk through filming locations, including where the “wooden rifle” was found.
