In 1929, while making a film about legendary lawman, Wyatt Earp, veteran actor Tom Mix (Bruce Willis) discovers that the real Earp (James Garner) is on set as a technical advisor.  The two become friendly, but when a murder takes place, they team up and set about tracking down the killer. Directed by Blake Edwards.
