OWENS RIVER MOVIE LOCATIONS TOUR – GENERAL ADMISSION BADGE AND E-TICKET REQUIRED
Sat Oct 10 11:45 am – 1:45 pm
Guide: Greg Parker
In a fun venture outside of the Alabama Hills this 2-stop tour will focus on a popular movie filming location northeast of Lone Pine at the Owens River bed. The area was used time and again for scenes in such films as The Man from Utah (1934), Between Men (1935), The Nevadan (1950), the Round-up (1920) and many more. This tour is an interesting diversion from the dramatic rocks and boulders of the Alabamas but still a part of the Lone Pine film history experience.
Tour walking effort: MODERATE on sloping and very dusty terrain
Members – $30
Non-Members-$40
